Your safety is our concern
The team at Karting Thetford wants you to have a fun, safe karting experience and we do our utmost in the field of accident prevention. Employee training, safe dependable equipment, and regular maintenance on our karts are all part of our commitment to safety.
However, we do have certain security rules that must be followed:
- We reserve the right to refuse anyone driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol;
- Pregnant women are not permitted to drive karts;
- We are not responsible for accidents;
- No reimbursements;
- 45 km/h karts: Minimum age: 7 years old and 48 inches in height;
- 75 km/h karts: Minimun age: 15 years and 60 inches in height;
- 80 km/h karts and Rotax 125cc: Minimum age: 18 years and 60 inches in height;
- No scarves allowed, coats or vests must be zipped up or buttoned;
- Long hair must be tied back;
- Both hands must remain on the steering wheel;
- It is strictly forbidden to cut off, hit or intimidate the other drivers using the track;
- Stopping on the track is not permitted;
- If your kart stops on the track, you must remain seated until a Karting employee goes to your kart;
- No smoking permitted on track;
